If you are in the market for a boat or just wanting to dream a little, Horizon Shores Marina is the place to be in October when more than 150 vessels will be for sale.
Boats ranging in price from $5000 to more than $1 million will be displayed on land and water over three days at the Horizon Shores Boat Show, Woongoolba, from October 11—13.
Unified Events managing director Kiara Sullivan said visitors will find a wide range of new and brokerage vessels from power to sail, tinnies to tenders and wake boats to house boats.
“If you’re into fishing, family cruising or an adrenaline fuelled day on the water, the boat show will have you covered.”
The event will also have boating and fishing accessories, water sports equipment and a series of seminars and workshops, she said.

A seafood and wine precinct will create a festival within a festival, including a sparkling and seafood bar, fisherman’s beer and BBQ bar, and demonstrations by celebrity chefs and live music,” Ms Sullivan said.
“It will be a family friendly event and even those without sea legs will have an incredible time.”
All boats on display will be available for purchase or pre-order and the show has been timed to coincide with the start of the boating season.
The full-service marina is on the doorstep of North and South Stradbroke Islands and is 15 minutes drive off the highway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
The marina can be reached by public transport, free shuttle bus, by water or even helicopter.
When: October 11—13
